| The Department of Botany started functioning in the year 1964. Now the Department has five faculty members and three laboratory assistants. The University permits the Department to admit thirty students for Degree Course. Along with the course of the study, the students are given Basic Computer Training, Techniques in Tissue Culture, Methods of Vermi Composting, Tips for Mushroom Cultivation and general awareness of local medicinal plants and their uses |
