| Folklore Club |
Officially inaugurated on 31-7-03 & affiliated to the Kerala Folklore Academy Kannur, aims to create in the students an awareness, love and concern towards all the facets of our heritage and to educate them in the preservation of our own cultural self. |

| Debating Club |
Started in order to promote the public speaking talent of the students. The convener of the club co-ordinates the sessions of debates on some of the most live & hot current issues. The oratorical talents are brought to the fore through competitions. |

| Entrepreneur Development Club |
EDC is a Government initiative for providing sustainable stimulus for industrial growth among students. It aims to (a) Inculcate entrepreneurial culture in students, (b) Induct entrepreneurial spirit in the educational institutions and (c) bring in successful entrepreneurs and students on a common platform. |

| Reader's club |
started functioning in the academic year 2003-04. It is an off-shoot of the Post Graduate Department of Economics. It conducts periodical book reviews and discussions on specific books. |

National Service Scheme aims at educating the student community by arousing in them social consciousness through community service. The membership is voluntary and every member has to attend 120 hours of activities and a compulsory special camping programmed for 10 days |

National Cadet Corps: - Senior Division Unit (Boys) was started in 1967 and the Senior (Girls) Wing Unit in 1991. At present the enrolled strength is 108+56.Regular parades are organized to inculcate leadership qualities; discipline, unity and strength of character in the cadets. Besides, there are Annual Training camps, trekking camps, National integration camps etc. Apart from these regular training programmes, N C C units in the college undertake various social services and community extension activities. |
