Additional Skill Acquisition Programme

The Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) is an ambitious programme initiated by the Govt. of Kerala with an objective of tackling the issue of growing unemployment in the state. The programme aims at equipping selected college students with skills in communication, IT and selected areas of industry and service sectors. The classes under ASAP will be engaged by Skill Development Executives identified by the Government/Industry. The ‘Summer Skill Skool’ Programme under ASAP provides opportunity for Final year UG students to enhance their employability skills in specific areas to acquire an immediate job. Nirmalagiri College is an authorized training centre under this programme.
