The Department of Mathematics & statistics was Launched in 1964,form the very begining of the college, opening the doors for the young generation of North Malabar in the realm of Science Education. The B.Sc(Mathematics-Main)degree course with Physics and Statistics as subsidiary papers was started in 1967. Through out these decades hundreds of graduates in Mathematics passed out from this Department with a deep imprint of academic excellence
